Lunch, Le Charlemagne Style

One of the highlights of any trip to Burgundy is having a meal at 1 michelin star Le Charlemagne in Pernand-Vergelesses. The restaurant sits in the vineyards (Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru En Caradeux to be exact) and looks onto the famous Corton Hill. Chef/Owner Laurent Peugeot's Japanese-inspired French cuisine has won him a strong following in and outside Burgundy. A meal at Le Charlemagne is never without a pleasant surprise or three. That's just so... Le Charlemagne!

In 2012 Laurent worked with Food Junction to bring his style of cuisine to Singapore in the form of LP+Tetsu at Tanglin Mall, including relocating some of his Le Charlemagne team to Singapore. Now with LP+Tetsu, we can have some of Laurent's delightful creations without the accompanying 16 hour transit.

AWE is pleased to host a <Corton-Charlemagne> lunch at LP+Tetsu on Saturday 21st July 2012, from 12noon.

For this lunch, we will show 6 vintages of Corton-Charlemagne from Domaine Rapet , 2 grower champagnes from Champagne Jean Laurent and a Cru Classe Rose from Rimauresq.

This event is limited to 22pax at $180nett/pax. Please RSVP early to avoid disappointment.
